BLAST FROM THE PAST
Sonus faber is not new to the arena of subwoofer design and engineering. The first subwoofer project, the Gravis FB100, was launched back in 1986, ten years later was born Sonus faber Cremona M. Today, with the new Gravis Collection, Sonus faber returns to its roots, merging a ever increasing cutting-edge technology while maintaining its identity of natural sound and quality Italian hand-craftsmanship.
REFINEMENT AND ELEGANCE
The Gravis III, V and VI subwoofers, the most powerful and high-end models of the active systems line, have been designed to be the perfect complement to all the loudspeakers collections that marked the history of Sonus faber. Aesthetically connected by the body enriched by a black leather covering, they differ from each other by the finishes of the hand-finished wooden top.
ALL-ROUND COLLECTION
Gravis collection, the active subwoofers line dedicated to the reproduction of low frequency, is able to match all Sonus faber full-range loudspeakers collections. Gravis III naturally fits in with Olympica Nova collection, while Gravis V and VI represent the perfect choice to those who want to complete Homage Tradition and Reference collections.

WOODEN TOP
The Gravis III subwoofer’s top finishes of Wengè and Walnut matte create the connection to Olympica Nova collection. Next to the wooden finishes, the discreet Piano Black finish satisfy customers who want a versatile product that can be easily integrated with any kind of audio system and environment.
SPEAKER UNIT
Gravis III features a 10” (250mm) ultra-long throw driver while Gravis V and VI have a powerful long stroke 12” (305mm) design. Drivers of all three models include a Trilaminated sandwich cone diaphragm with a layer of honeycomb in between, managing the driver’s excursion and resistance flexing even with under strongest signal.
WOODEN TOP
Gravis V and VI are enriched by the hand-finished wooden top available in the iconic finishes of Homage Tradition and Reference collections, Red and Wengè. 14 layers of lacquering make these creations precious just as musical instruments.
DEDICATED APP
The Gravis III, V and VI are fully controllable by means of a dedicated, user-friendly app, available for iOS and Android system that makes the subwoofers simple to configure and use. The goal is always the same: a perfect sound reproduction.
