Made in our Focal Workshops in St. Etienne France, Clear is our newest reference high-fidelity headphone, taking inspiration from our best technologies found in Utopia and innovations that defined Elear. Clear's full-range speakers and open back design reveal the tiniest musical details. The completely open back speaker provides unparalleled respect for dynamics. Clear offer extremely realistic listening. The aluminum/magnesium alloy M-profile dome offers an ideal combination of low weight, high rigidity and excellent damping. This means that high frequencies are linear and transients are fully respected. Clear are capable of precisely revealing the tiniest details of the recording, taking you to the heart of your music. Unparalleled depth and dynamics are the signature of this beautiful pair of headphones.
The microfibre ear cushions provide a degree of openness unequalled in this price range. The 1 millimetre diameter micro-perforations on their outer edge help give an impression of a very open space. The sensation of listening in the room, and not through headphones, is intensified.
- These headphones require a running-in period in order to operate at their best.
- They will run themselves in naturally after several hours of listening time.
- If you want to speed up the process, we recommend playing very bassy music through them for at least 24 hours at a relatively high volume.
- This will stabilise the speaker drivers and allow you to get the very best out of your headphones.
The leather of headband and aluminum yoke are Clear’s centrepieces and provide the iconic styling, in the tradition of Elear. The sophisticated design of the headband shape means that it fits all head sizes.
